Amador County District 5 is an extraordinary place.

District 5 is rural, historic, and beautiful. The district encompasses rural ranches in western Amador County near Plymouth and Drytown; farms, vineyards and wineries in Shenandoah Valley; rural homesites and forestlands outside Sutter Creek, Amador City, Volcano and Pine Grove; and the historic small towns of Fiddletown, River Pines, Plymouth, and Drytown.

We have so much here. And our communities face many challenges.

I'm eager to hear your concerns.

As your District 5 Supervisor, I will:

  • Strengthen our public safety and security.
I understand your concerns about public safety and the demands on local first responders. I will work to strengthen our security and safety: fire safety, road safety, emergency services, health and mental health resources.

  • Build a stronger economy with more well-paying jobs.
As a technology industry manager, a former small-business owner, and the mother of adult sons, I will work to bring better business, career, and educational opportunities to our county, and to strengthen our local economy.

  • Ensure that county government is responsive, accountable, and efficient.
I have a track record of getting things done with others, and I know I can learn from you. I want to hear your ideas for making county government better. I will always put our community before ideology or politics. And I will have few -- if any -- conflicts of interest that require me to recuse myself from important discussions and votes.

  • Help District 5 communities maintain their unique identities and character while protecting our rural quality of life.
Our District 5 communities share a small-town quality of life and a rural environment, yet they vary in their history, cultures, and needs. Local residents should determine our local communities' futures.
